Founder Profile

Arnav Kumar
is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he
has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last
role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation
Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban
company, unacademy and many other unicorns. He thinks and tweets

Vaibhav Singh
is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at
DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow
book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member
of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued
>$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience
(edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering,
product, design)

About the Role:

The charter for this role will include:

- Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business teams to deeply understand the problems you're solving for our customers, and explore multiple high-level approaches to solving them





- Design our UI elements and shape our UX as our products mature and scale.

- Create prototypes and perform usability testing/guerilla testing of your design work

- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design

- Contribute in evolving our design patterns and standards

Ideal Persona:

- Someone with prior internship experience is preferred.

- Someone with working knowledge of the Figma and how component libraries/design systems are set up.

- Has an eye for detail and loves turning ideas into visually compelling designs.

- A true focus on the customer—you make your design decisions based on research, including interviews, usability testing and quantitative data.

- ⁠⁠A passion to learn and grow every day and curious about the “why” of design, as well as the “what”

- ⁠⁠Experience working on consumer facing products where you have been through the life-cycle of design and release iterations (Optional).

- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design innovation.
