Our Business Finance offering portfolio-

- Financial planning and analysis – Modernizing finance function and enabling best practices around planning, budgeting and forecasting through client advisory with focus on scenario planning, driver-based planning and driving business performance through data driven insights. Assessing key gaps in the current ways of working and recommending best practices and future state processes.

- Costing Transformation – Designing and implementing costing frameworks involving product costing, standard costing, cost allocations, activity-based costing and profitability analysis to enable cost transparency and optimization across the value chain.

- Management Reporting Optimization and Transformation – Optimizing current management reports, assess gaps, streamlining reporting processes, enabling data source mappings, recommending best practices around management reporting, creating KPI library and catalogues, advise on key dashboards and KPIs for data-driven business insights and real-time reporting.

Job Overview

The primary role of a Manager will be to make immediate and direct contribution to enhance our clients’ competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. Assist Finance organizations in solving complex business finance related challenges and adding greater value to the business.

To achieve this, you will be expected to perform the following activities:

- Collaborate with client finance and business leaders to assess, design, and optimize end-to-end planning, costing or reporting processes

- Advise on EPM and digital technology solutions ensuring alignment between business needs and technology capabilities.

- Redesign processes and data models (e.g., Chart of Accounts, cost/profit centers), define KPIs, build business cases to support process improvement

- Ensure finance priorities are understood and aligned to define current and future state processes, alignment to standard functionality (e.g., fit/gap, automated vs manual processes), and impacts to the finance business teams

- Lead process modernization, business requirement gathering, and solution blueprinting to align with future state capabilities.

- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver large-scale finance transformation programs on time and with measurable impact.

- Lead RFPs/ proposal preparation by collaborating across competencies/ alliances/ service lines





- Cultivate and nurture client relationships beyond project delivery, exploring avenues for repeat business

- Contribute to continuous service portfolio innovation through asset development, trainings and knowledge sharing.

- Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain relationships CXOs across target clients within your sector/ service line

- Mentorship and Team Culture-

- Lead and inspire a team of consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support on Business finance domain

- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing

Skills Required

- Qualifications:

- Candidates CA Qualified/ CMA Qualified/ CFA Qualified/ MBA from a premium institute

- Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework

- Experience

- 4-8 years of relevant experience in business finance across consulting and/or industry roles, post qualification would be preferred

- Relevant work experience in business finance function under management consulting (big 4 or comparable) is appreciated

- Experience in establishing and managing comprehensive business finance function in industry is relevant and appreciated

- Exposure to consulting assets, methodologies, points-of-view, research or white papers, marketing collaterals etc. in the business finance domain or EPM technologies

- Prior experience or working knowledge of leading EPM solutions – SAC, Anaplan, Board, Oracle, Tagetik etc. is a plus

- Skills and Competencies

- Candidate should have delivered and managed multiple business finance transformation projects, across industries, geographies and on multiple EPM solutions

- Domain expertise in the following areas (representative list, not exhaustive)

- Planning, budgeting and forecasting

- Financial planning and analysis

- Employee cost planning

- Opex planning including IT cost, rent & leasing plans, selling and distribution cost planning and admin cost planning

- Balance Sheet and Cash flow planning

- Cash flow forecasting and liquidity plans

- Rolling Forecast

- Scenario planning and what-if analysis

- Long range planning

- Target setting

- Shareholder value maximization frameworks including KPI management

- Management reporting optimization

- Dashboarding and self-service reporting

- Costing framework design – Product costing, standard costing, activity-based costing

- Cost allocation framework design

- Ability to challenge the status quo, deliver compelling and well-structured arguments for change and transformation

- Prior experience in managing teams and projects

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal





- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products such as PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word etc.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

- Willingness to travel - This role requires travel as per project requirements

Delhi/ Mumbai/ Pune/ Bengaluru/ Kolkata (candidates from other locations must be willing to relocate)
