Role OverviewWe’re looking for an Interior Designer to join the Copper Trunk team someone detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn.This role involves supporting the design team across all stages of a project, from concept development to documentation. The focus is on building a strong foundation in design thinking, attention to detail, and clarity in execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentationsSupport in space planning and layout developmentWork on drawings including plans, elevations, and detailingResearch materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting optionsCoordinate with senior designers to ensure design intent is maintainedMaintain organised documentation and drawing setsAssist with site visits when required
What We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in interior design or architectureBasic understanding of materials, finishes, and spatial planningProficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)Good visual sense and attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work within defined timelinesWillingness to learn and take feedback constructively
