Key Responsibilities:Provide expert-level guidance in embedded system design, architecture, development, and integration.Define technical strategies, system requirements, and solution roadmaps for complex embedded products.Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts across hardware-software interfaces.Review and validate embedded software for compliance with coding standards and industry certifications.Mentor and support engineering teams on embedded development best practices and processes.Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and deliver robust solutions.Stay up to date on emerging technologies in embedded systems, IoT, real-time systems, and microcontroller platforms.

Technical Skills & Requirements:Proficient in

embedded C/C++ ,

RTOS ,

Linux , or

bare-metal programming .Solid knowledge of

microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, PIC, etc.)

and

peripheral interfaces

(SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, PWM).Experience with

firmware development ,

bootloaders ,

low-level drivers , and

hardware abstraction layers (HAL) .Familiarity with debugging tools such as

JTAG ,

oscilloscopes ,

logic analyser's , etc.Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.)Exposure to

model-based development

(e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus.Understanding safety standards like

ISO 26262 ,

IEC 61508 , or

MISRA C

(as per domain).Proficiency in

system-level debugging

and

performance profiling .

Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.18+ years of hands-on experience in embedded system design and development.Prior experience in leading technical teams or acting as a consultant on embedded projects.
