Role Overview:

n

We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience

n

in Steel and Light Gauge/Cold formed Steel with experience in Wood, Masonry, precast

n

and Concrete structures considered as an added advantage. The ideal candidate

n

should possess a strong understanding of client requirements, the ability to interpret

n

engineering documentation, and proficiency in software and manual calculation,

n

designing structural elements and detailing. This role involves developing structural

n

models, analysis and design, preparation manual calculation, preparing engineering

n

documentation, and ensuring compliance with international project standards,

n

particularly those followed in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

• Software Proficiency: RISA 3D, RISA CONNECTION, ROBOT STRUCTURAL

n

ANALYSIS/ETABS/STAADPRO, IDEA STATICA, RAM CONNECTION

n

• SAP 2000, Basics on TEKLA – considered as an added advantage

n

• ENERCALC/CLEARCALCS considered as an added advantage

n

• Client Interaction: Understand and interpret client requirements effectively.

n

• Engineering Documentation: Review and interpret engineering documentation to

n

ensure compliance with project specifications.

n

• Design:



Design structural elements for Steel, Light Gauge/Cold formed Steel

n

• Model Development: Develop detailed structural models using appropriate

n

software.

n

• Preparation of Engineering Documents: Prepare Design documents, manual

n

calculation, engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

n

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs and documentation comply with

n

international standards and norms.

n

• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines and project teams

n

to ensure project success.

n

• Hands-on Experience: Provide hands-on engineering support during the project

n

lifecycle.

n

Qualifications:

n

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering/ Master's degree in Structural

n

Engineering

n

• 5+ years of relevant experience in various domains.

n

• Strong understanding of international project standards (USA, UK, Canada,

n

Australia etc).

n

• Proficiency in structural design software mentioned.

n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

n

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

n

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

n

Preferred Skills:

n

• Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the USA,UK, Canada,

n

Australia etc.
