The Senior Sales Engineer will lead technical presales activities for Onam Cloud and work closely with customers, sales teams, cloud engineers, and partners. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical and commercial solutions. n Role n Senior Sales Engineer n Function n Presales / Sales Engineering – Onam Cloud n Experience n 4–6 years n Level n Senior n Engagement n Full-time n Responsibilities n n Lead customer discovery and technical consultation sessions. n Understand infrastructure, application, security, compliance, and data-residency requirements. n Recommend suitable OnPublic, OnPrivate, or OnBYOPC solutions. n Develop solution architectures, sizing, pricing, and technical proposals. n Present demonstrations and explain solutions to technical and business stakeholders. n Prepare hyperscaler cost comparisons, RFP responses, and commercial inputs. n Lead proof-of-concept planning and coordinate delivery with engineering teams.



n Support customer onboarding and technical handover. n Guide and mentor Associate Sales Engineers. n Maintain reusable proposal templates, presentations, and solution documentation. n n Required Skills n n Strong knowledge of cloud computing, servers, storage, networking, backup, security, and disaster recovery. n Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, or private cloud platforms. n Experience in cloud presales, infrastructure consulting, or solution architecture. n Ability to create high-level architectures, infrastructure sizing, and cost estimates. n Robust presentation, communication, and documentation skills. n Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and management teams. n n Good to Have n n Knowledge of Kubernetes, KVM, Ceph, Apache CloudStack, firewalls, VPNs, and data-centre infrastructure. n Understanding of sovereign cloud, data residency, compliance, and regulated workloads. n Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, networking, or security certifications. n
