We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web, desktop, and API applications. The candidate should be proficient in automation frameworks, software testing methodologies, API testing, CI/CD integration, defect management, and database validation. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
- Perform manual testing wherever automation is not feasible or practical.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and prepare detailed test reports.
- Perform API testing and validation using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Validate application data using SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Ensure adequate automation coverage for new features, enhancements, and regression testing.
- Conduct peer reviews of automation scripts to ensure code quality, maintainability, and coding standards.
