Role Purpose
Ensure statutory, regulatory, and system compliance across manufacturing operations while supporting global certification and audit requirements including ISO, OHSAS, SMETA, and RJC standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS / ISO 45001, SMETA, and RJC standards across manufacturing operations
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Maintain compliance documentation, audit records, and SOP adherence across departments
- Monitor and support health, safety, environmental, and ethical compliance frameworks
- Liaise with certification bodies, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Conduct compliance reviews, gap assessments, and corrective action tracking
- Drive awareness and training on compliance standards across the organization
- Support continuous improvement in compliance processes and systems
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in compliance roles within a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience in ISO / OHSAS / SMETA / RJC audits and certification processes
- Strong understanding of audit preparation, regulatory documentation, and compliance systems
Education & Qualification
- Engineering Graduate (BE / B.Tech) or Science Graduate (BSc)
- Certification in ISO Standards / Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) – Preferred
- Exposure to OHSAS / ISO 45001, SMETA, and RJC compliance frameworks
- Additional certification in Compliance, Safety, or Audit Systems will be an advantage
