SDS actively supports flagship programmes such asSwachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U)through project management, capacity building, stakeholder coordination, and urban sanitation initiatives.Position OverviewTheProject Head/Manager – SBM-Uwill be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities underSwachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0. The role involves close coordination withMunicipal Council (MC Pali), Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, compliance with SBM-U guidelines, and timely achievement of project objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage overall implementation of SBM-U project activities.Coordinate withMunicipal Council (MC Pali), ULB officials, and other stakeholders.Supervise project teams and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.Monitor project progress and maintain reports, MIS, and project documentation.Support activities related toSwachh Survekshan, certification,



and urban sanitation initiatives.Ensure compliance with SBM-U guidelines, project timelines, and quality standards.Identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective measures.Facilitate review meetings and provide regular project updates to management.Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate inEnvironmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.Minimum3+ yearsof experience inSBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), Urban Governance, or similar Government projects.Experience working withUrban Local Bodies (ULBs)or Government Departments will be preferred.Key SkillsStrong knowledge ofSBM-Uguidelines andSwachh Survekshanprocesses.Excellent project management, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership skills.Solid documentation, reporting, and MIS preparation abilities.Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Why Join SDSJoin a mission-driven organization working towards sustainable urban development and sanitation.
