Responsibilities

As an Automation Tester, here's what you'll be doing:

- Crafting, developing, and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyzing test results, reporting defects with comprehensive documentation, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers and product owners to align on application functionality and requirements.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing automation frameworks for optimal performance and scalability.
- Performing root cause analysis for identified defects and implementing effective solutions.
- Actively contributing to process improvements and proposing innovations for better testing methodologies.
- Documenting test procedures, configurations, and results for clarity and effective communication.




- Staying current with the latest automation tools, technologies, and frameworks.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

- Experience: 5-7 years in software testing, including 4+ years in automation testing.
- Automation Tools: Expertise in Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or related frameworks.
- Programming Proficiency: Strong hands-on coding in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Frameworks: Proficient in building and sustaining test automation frameworks.
- CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Defect Management: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- API Testing: Proficiency with Postman, SoapUI, or API automation tools.
- Database Skills: Working knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Good-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with performance/load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Agile proficiency: Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Industry certifications: ISTQB or similar a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Clear communication to work seamlessly with diverse, cross-functional teams.
