Job Summary
We are looking for a Jr. Engineer / Jr. Officer – Purchase to support procurement activities, supplier coordination, material planning, cost negotiation, and inventory management. The ideal candidate should have valuable communication and negotiation skills along with knowledge of purchase and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement activities as per MRP requirements.
- Identify and develop new suppliers/vendors.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and finalize supplier orders.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial offers, and support product costing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery against Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor supplier performance and coordinate for delivery-related issues.
- Review supplier consumption and material requirements.
- Conduct regular system stock and inventory reviews.
- Coordinate with Quality and suppliers regarding quality issues and corrective actions.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier data, quotations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and other departments for material requirements.

Eligibility
- Qualification: Diploma / Graduate
- Experience: 1–3 years in Purchase / Procurement / Vendor Development
- Candidates from Manufacturing / Engineering industries will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

The candidate should be proactive, organized, commercially aware, and capable of coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal departments. Strong follow-up and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
