Credit Underwriting- 4+ Years - Mumbai

We are seeking an experienced professional with 4+ years of core Credit Underwriting experience, preferably from the Banking sector. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in credit assessment, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and underwriting. Responsibilities: * Evaluate and underwrite credit proposals by assessing the financial strength, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity of borrowers.

- Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, credit history, cash flows, and key financial ratios to assess credit risk.
- Identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures in line with underwriting policies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit appraisal reports, underwriting decisions, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with business, risk, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective credit decisions.

Requirements: * 4+ years of core Credit Underwriting experience, with strong expertise in credit assessment, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Mandatory experience in the Banking sector, preferably across Corporate, Commercial, Wholesale, or Business Banking.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit appraisal, underwriting principles, and credit risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making,



and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently assess credit proposals.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a Work From Office (WFO) setup in Mumbai and hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
