Role Purpose

To execute and monitor civil engineering activities for Pellet Plant 2 (PP2), ensuring timely and quality-compliant execution of civil and structural works. The role will be responsible for site execution, contractor management, quality control, quantity estimation, project coordination, and adherence to safety and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Project Execution

-
Execute and monitor civil works for Pellet Plant 2, including foundations, buildings, structures, equipment foundations, roads, drainage, and associated infrastructure.

Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and project schedules.

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly site activities in line with project milestones.

Monitor physical progress and identify delays, constraints, and corrective actions.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, C&I;, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams for interface management.

Construction & Structural Works

Supervise execution of RCC, structural foundations, equipment foundations, piling, flooring, trenches, drains, roads, and other civil works.

Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, grouting, waterproofing, and finishing activities.

Ensure proper execution of foundation and structural works based on equipment load and approved engineering drawings.

Coordinate survey and setting-out activities to ensure dimensional and elevation accuracy.

Review civil and structural drawings and resolve site-level technical issues in coordination with Engineering.

Quality Control

Ensure compliance with approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), specifications, and applicable standards.
