Position: Loose Stone Checker – Final QC
Role Summary:
Responsible for checking loose, missing, chipped, or damaged stones in finished jewelry at the final quality inspection stage before dispatch. Ensure all stones are securely set and meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished jewelry for loose, missing, or damaged stones.
- Check stone security using QC tools (loupe, microscope, stone probe).
- Verify stone count, size,



and placement as per specifications.
- Identify and report setting defects or quality issues.
- Send defective pieces for rework and maintain inspection records.
- Ensure only approved pieces are released for packing and dispatch.

Requirements:
- 1–5 years of experience in jewelry QC or stone checking.
- Knowledge of diamond/gemstone settings and jewelry manufacturing.
- Valuable attention to detail and quality standards.
