Job Description Hiring | Senior – US Tax | 1065 | Financial Services
n Spectral Consultants is hiring for one of the leading global accounting, tax and business advisory firms, known for providing tax and advisory solutions to clients across industries, with a strong presence in the US and India.
n Position: Senior – 1065 Tax | Federal Tax – Non-SALT
n Location: Mumbai | Bangalore | Hyderabad
n Experience: 3–5 years
n Notice Period: 30 days preferred | Maximum 60 days
n What We're Looking For
n Candidates with 3+ years of relevant US Tax experience, particularly in Partnership Tax / Form 1065, with exposure to Financial Services clients such as:
n • Private Equity (PE) Funds
n • Hedge Funds
n • Venture Capital (VC) Funds
n • Fund of Funds
n • Other Investment/Fund structures
n Key criteria:
n Strong hands-on experience in Form 1065
n Experience with Schedules K-1, K-2 & K-3
n Strong understanding of US Federal Tax – Non-SALT
n Experience in reviewing complex partnership tax returns and workpapers
n Exposure to tax planning,



projections and compliance
n Ability to identify tax issues and provide appropriate solutions
n Experience working with US/global stakeholders is preferred
n CA / CPA / Enrolled Agent would be an added advantage
n Key Responsibilities
n • Prepare and review complex US Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065)
n • Review K-1, K-2 & K-3 and supporting workpapers
n • Handle tax compliance and tax-related assignments for Financial Services clients
n • Assist with tax planning, projections and finalization of returns
n • Research and resolve complex US tax issues
n • Review work for accuracy and compliance with US tax laws
n • Coordinate with global teams and support client requirements
n • Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing and process improvement
n Ideal Profile: US Tax professionals with robust 1065 / Partnership Tax + Financial Services / Fund taxation experience.
