Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation. The candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, GST and TDS matters, tax reconciliations, assessments, audits, notices, and coordination with internal teams, consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Taxation
- Manage and ensure timely filing of Income Tax and TDS returns, including Form 24Q and 26Q.
- Review TDS deductions, payments, reconciliations, and TDS certificates.
- Prepare tax computations, workings, and provisions.
- Support Income Tax assessments, notices, appeals, and audits.
- Monitor changes in Income Tax laws and ensure timely implementation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and advisors on direct tax matters.

2. GST & Indirect Taxation
- Prepare and review GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-8, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Perform GST reconciliation between books, sales/purchase data, and GST returns.
- Review ITC reconciliation, GSTR-2B, RCM, e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance.




- Handle GST notices, assessments, audits, and departmental queries.
- Coordinate with business teams for GST-related transactions and compliance.
- Monitor changes in GST laws and ensure necessary process updates.

3. Tax Compliance & Reconciliation
- Ensure all tax compliances are completed within statutory timelines.
- Maintain tax compliance calendars and trackers.
- Perform monthly/periodic tax reconciliations.
- Identify tax discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Maintain proper tax records and supporting documentation.

4. Tax Audit & Assessment
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
- Prepare responses and supporting documents for tax notices and queries.
- Track assessments, notices, appeals, and other tax-related matters.

5. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic tax MIS and management reports.
