Job Description

The Senior Integration Engineer is an exciting senior leadership level
technical position to encompassing design, installation, support and project
leadership. Moving fluidly between technical and analytical responsibilities,
this role offers you agile and engaging day-to-day functions.

Responsibilities

* You will participate in, review, document and communicate test plans and
outcomes, for system and interface modifications
* You will develop and maintain interface code and configuration, application
build and configuration, as well as database structure; assuring database
integrity for all systems while maintaining standards of system interface build,
HL7 standard messaging conventions, and database maintenance
* You will identify and isolate the system, interface, and performance issues
utilizing relevant technical criteria, data, critical thinking, and a methodic
rule-out process
* You will design, code and test message formats,



system functions, extracts,
imports, reports, conversions, interfaces, programs, etc., to meet user needs
using standard tools such asTCL/TK, Korn Shell, PERL, or other applicable
programming languages
* You will maintain, enhance and modify installed interfaces and data
extracts, appropriately prioritizing modifications to meet user requirements in
accordance with MHS objectives and budgetary limits
* You will assist the team with appropriate project management techniques to
plan, monitor, manage and report on the implementation process and status of
small projects and work activities
* You will participate in inter-departmental discussions to address and
resolve system interface and procedural issues, providing input relative to the
position and offering system solutions in the decision-making process

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information
Technology
