QpiAI Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and characterisation of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware, and QpiAI ASGP.

Job Description

n

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Chip Design Engineer to join our cutting-edge research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantum chip design with a particular focus on superconducting microwave circuits used to couple qubits and readouts. The role encompasses designing multi-qubit circuits for fabrication and developing next-generation quantum processors with improved gate and measurement fidelities. This role involves working closely with our nanofabrication team to develop novel superconducting qubit architectures and filing patents.

Requirements

- MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.
n
- Experience with design of quantum circuits and gds tapeout using custom tools or commercial software (HFSS, ADS Quantum Pro) and simulation.
n
- Expertise in developing circuit architecture to improve the performance of gates and readout
n
- Knowledge and strong understanding of circuit QED, and error-correction schemes preferably in superconducting qubits.
n
- Proven track record of successful projects and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of quantum technology.
n
- Experience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
n
- Experience in writing analysis reports to help the definition of DOE and improvement plan for experimentation plan is a plus.
n
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
n
- Should be self-motivated and can work independently
