Role Description This full-time, Work from home 8pm to 5am IST Medical Administrative Assistant role supports the smooth operation of a busy neurology practice. The medical administrative assistant can work with:

n

Chart preparation: Review upcoming patient schedules and prepare charts before visits, including prior records, labs, imaging, medications, and outstanding clinical items.

n

Physician inbox management: Assist with organizing and managing Inbox,



routing messages appropriately and ensuring pending items are followed through to completion.

n

Medication Prior Authorizations: Submit and follow up on medication PAs, communicate with insurance plans/pharmacies, and track approvals and denials.

n

Help ensure clinical tasks do not remain unresolved or overdue.

Qualifications

n

MBBS doctor preparing for USMLE preferred.

n

Experience as a medical assistant, clinical coordinator, or healthcare support professional.

n

Prior experience supporting a US physician practice strongly preferred.

n

Familiarity with Epic or another US EHR is a major advantage.

n

Experience with medication prior authorizations and insurance portals.

n

Knowledge of US healthcare terminology, medications, referrals, and clinical workflows.

n

Excellent written and spoken English.

n

Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.

n

Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.

n

Reliable high-speed internet and ability to consistently work US hours.
