Role Description The SEO Intern role is a remote, contract position focused on supporting TruWebz’s search engine optimization efforts across client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with keyword research, performing basic SEO audits, and contributing to on-page optimization tasks such as meta tags, headings, and content recommendations.



The intern will help monitor website performance using web analytics tools, track key SEO metrics, and prepare reports for internal teams. Additional tasks may involve supporting link building initiatives, researching industry trends, and collaborating with developers, content writers, and marketing specialists to implement SEO best practices. This role offers hands-on experience in a qualified digital agency environment with mentorship from experienced SEO practitioners.
Qualifications
Ability to perform keyword research and apply findings to content and on-page optimization.
Basic understanding of SEO audits and on-page SEO techniques, including site structure and technical checks.
Familiarity with link building concepts and ethical, white-hat outreach practices.
Experience or coursework using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to interpret traffic and performance
