Role Description The Zookeeper role at Digital-A-Marketing is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for the daily care, feeding, and monitoring of animals, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. The Zookeeper will maintain enclosures, observe and record animal behavior, assist in basic health checks, and follow established protocols for animal handling and hygiene.

The role includes supporting enrichment activities to promote natural behaviors, collaborating with veterinary and support staff,



and following all safety and compliance guidelines. The Zookeeper may also contribute to educational or visitor-facing activities, helping explain animal behavior and welfare practices when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Animal Care and Animal Handling skills, with a focus on safe, humane, and ethical practices.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Zoology and Animal Behavior to understand species-specific needs and behavioral patterns.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Wildlife, including the ability to work with diverse species and follow conservation-minded practices.
- Relevant skills such as attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Zoology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in zoos, animal shelters, wildlife centers, or similar environments is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting are important.
