ABOUT THE ROLE

Creativals is looking for a creative and curious Web Development Intern who enjoys building websites that are more than just functional.

You will work on creative-oriented web development projects where design, technology, animation and user experience come together to create memorable digital experiences.

We encourage the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to work faster, solve problems and explore new ideas.

However, AI is a tool — not a replacement for creativity. We want you to understand, improve and experiment with the code you build.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build creative, visually engaging and interactive websites from concepts, references and ideas.
- Develop responsive websites with a strong focus on UI, animations, interactions and user experience.
- Convert creative concepts and designs into functional web experiences.
- Experiment with scroll animations, transitions, parallax effects, micro-interactions and immersive layouts.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, research solutions, debug problems and experiment with new ideas.
- Understand, modify and improve AI-generated code instead of blindly copying it.
- Explore modern web technologies, frameworks and libraries to create better digital experiences.
- Ensure websites are mobile-first, responsive, fast and visually polished.
- Test websites across different screen sizes and browsers.
- Identify and fix UI, responsiveness and functionality issues.




- Collaborate remotely with the Creativals team and communicate progress clearly.
- Take ownership of assigned work from idea → development → testing → refinement → final delivery.
- Research inspiring websites, interactions and emerging web trends.
- Bring your own creative ideas and suggestions instead of simply following instructions.

WORK COMMITMENT

This is a remote internship with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per day.

The intern is expected to:

- Dedicate at least 4 hours every working day to the internship.
- Maintain consistent communication with the team.
- Provide regular updates on assigned work and progress.
- Attend occasional online discussions, reviews or feedback sessions when required.
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
- Manage time and responsibilities independently while working remotely.

This is not a casual internship. We are looking for someone who can consistently contribute, learn and build.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You don't need to know everything.

We are more interested in your curiosity, creativity and ability to build.

The ideal candidate should have:

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive web development.
- A good eye for design, spacing, typography, colours and visual hierarchy.
- Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Comfort using AI tools as part of your development workflow.




- Ability to understand and modify AI-generated code.
- A builder's mindset rather than simply a coder's mindset.
- Curiosity to experiment with new ideas and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A portfolio, college project, GitHub repository or personal project is a plus.
