Role Description This is a part-time, remote Web Content Writer role.

The Web Content

Writer will research topics, draft and revise articles, blogs, and web pages, and ensure all content aligns with THE CURRENT VIEW INDIA’s voice and standards.

Responsibilities include structuring and formatting content for the web, collaborating with editors on content plans, and updating or refreshing existing content to keep it accurate and relevant. The role also involves basic content management tasks, such as uploading content to the website, adding metadata, and optimizing text for readability and search.

Writer will work independently,



manage their own deadlines, and participate in virtual meetings as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills for creating transparent, engaging, and reader-focused online content.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Content Management skills to plan, organize, and maintain content across digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to gather accurate information, validate sources, and support content with credible data.
- Candidates should possess excellent command of written English, including grammar, structure, and tone adaptation for different audiences.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with basic SEO principles, web publishing tools or CMS platforms, and version control of content.
- Candidates should possess strong time-management skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and attention to detail.
- A background in Communications, Journalism, English, or related fields, and prior experience writing for websites or blogs is beneficial.
