Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor – Social Media

Chakra is looking for a highly creative Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to bring our brand to life through bold, energetic and visually exciting social content.

We're looking for someone who can take raw footage and transform it into content that makes people stop scrolling. Think dynamic edits, animated typography, beat-synced transitions, motion graphics, creative effects and strong visual storytelling.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves experimenting, has exceptional attention to detail, and is constantly looking for ways to make content cooler.

What You'll Do

Edit high-quality Instagram Reels and short-form video content
Create motion graphics, animated typography and dynamic text treatments
Add creative transitions, effects, overlays and visual elements that elevate raw footage
Create beat-synced edits that bring Chakra's music and energy to life
Use techniques such as motion tracking, masking, speed ramping and compositing where appropriate
Shoot and capture content across Chakra studios, classes, events and activations
Create polished static and video Instagram Stories
Design social media graphics, promotional creatives and campaign assets
Turn everyday moments at Chakra into compelling, shareable content
Identify new editing styles, visual trends and content formats that could work for the brand
Work with instructors and studio teams to capture the footage and content you need




Support launches, collaborations, events and campaigns with creative assets
Help maintain a consistent and distinctive visual identity across Chakra's social channels

Who We're Looking For

1–3 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, motion design or social content creation
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional video-editing software
Strong understanding of motion graphics, animated typography and visual effects
Good graphic design skills and a strong understanding of typography, composition and layout
Comfortable shooting high-quality content on a phone and/or camera
Solid understanding of Instagram Reels and current short-form video styles
A natural sense of rhythm, pacing and music when editing
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work quickly without compromising creative quality
Proactive and comfortable experimenting with new ideas, effects and editing techniques
Strong visual taste and an understanding of what feels current versus overdone

Experience creating content for fitness, music, fashion, nightlife, sports, hospitality or lifestyle brands is a plus.
