Job Title: Business Development Executive – Chemicals Division

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and implement business and marketing strategies to meet sales and profitability goals.

- Identify and tap into new markets, industries, and customer segments for targeted chemical products.

- Strengthen brand awareness and expand market share in existing and new geographies.

- Cultivate and manage long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and after-sales service.

- Deepen product knowledge and discover new uses and applications for existing chemical solutions.

- Provide actionable market intelligence and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions.

- Convert high-potential leads into contractual customers; identify and communicate new value propositions.

- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of orders.

- Lead regular business reviews,



manage order risks, and support operational excellence at the branch level.

- Collaborate across departments (technical, finance, logistics) for receivable management and issue resolution.

Qualifications

- Education:

- MBA in Marketing or International Business with a Chemical background

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. + M.Sc. in Chemistry (major), or BE/ME in Chemical

- Experience:

- 1–5 years of relevant experience

- Experience in the sales and marketing of Robust Acids, Basic Chemicals, or related industrial chemicals is preferred

- Strong understanding of the chemical industry and industrial sales cycle

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to identify market trends and convert opportunities into sales
