Job Summary The Warehouse Head is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, dispatch, logistics coordination, team leadership, safety compliance, and process optimization. The role ensures efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.

• Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of goods.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and cycle counts.

• Implement and monitor warehouse SOPs to improve operational efficiency.

• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.

• Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, sales, and finance teams for smooth operations.

• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, and dispatch timelines.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.

• Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

• Prepare operational reports and present warehouse performance metrics to management.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve service levels.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.





• 8–12 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management.

• Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Experience in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or distribution environments is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Knowledge of inventory control techniques and warehouse best practices.

This role oversees daily receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of products to e-commerce partners, retail stores, and distribution channels,



ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.

The Warehouse

Head leads and mentors warehouse team members, sets performance expectations, and enforces safety, hygiene, and quality standards aligned with food-grade handling requirements. The role includes coordinating with procurement, operations, and customer service teams to optimize stock levels, reduce errors, and improve order turnaround times.

The Warehouse

Head also analyzes operational data, implements process improvements, and supports scalability as the brand expands across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

- Strong Supply Chain Management skills, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
- Operations Management experience in warehouse or distribution environments, with focus on efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Procurement and vendor coordination skills to manage inbound materials, packaging, and third-party logistics partners.
- Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including workforce planning, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Customer Service orientation, ensuring accurate, timely deliveries and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in FMCG, food, or consumer goods warehousing is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Excel, and basic data analysis for monitoring KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred; relevant diplomas with strong experience are also considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage shifting priorities, and maintain compliance with safety and food-handling regulations.
