Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with robust practical knowledge of CNC Turning and VMC machine manufacturing, assembly and production management. The candidate will be responsible for complete production activities from planning to machine completion and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production of CNC Turning and VMC machines.
- Prepare production plans and schedules as per customer delivery commitments.
- Manage complete machine assembly, mechanical fitting, alignment and integration.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Handle production teams, shift planning, work allocation and daily productivity.
- Monitor machine-wise production progress and ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Electrical, Quality and Service departments.
- Ensure availability of required components, bought-out items and materials for production.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Monitor assembly, fitting, alignment, lubrication, piping and other machine-building activities.
- Ensure machines are completed according to required quality and production standards.
- Monitor production timelines, manpower utilization and material consumption.
- Conduct regular production meetings and maintain daily/weekly production reports.




- Handle breakdowns, assembly-related problems and technical production issues.
- Ensure proper testing, trial run and readiness of machines before dispatch.
- Develop and improve production processes to reduce delays and improve productivity.
- Take complete responsibility for production targets, manpower and project completion.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in CNC Turning Machine and VMC Machine manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of CNC machine mechanical assembly and fitting.
- Practical knowledge of LM Guideways, Ball Screws, Spindle, Chuck, Tool Turret/ATC, machine alignment and machine assembly.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good production planning and project management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete production department.

Preferred Candidate Candidates currently working as Production Manager / Production Head / Senior Production Engineer / Project Manager in CNC machine manufacturing, machine tools or similar industries will be preferred.

Note: This is a hands-on production management role. Candidates should have practical experience in CNC machine manufacturing and complete machine assembly, not only general production experience.
