n ABOUT THE ROLE
n Smartedge Consulting is looking for an Associate Consultant to support consulting, implementation, auditing, documentation and training assignments in the areas of IMS-QEHS, Food Safety and EHS.
n This is a hands-on consulting role where you will work with experienced consultants and gain practical exposure to client projects across different industries.
n The role is suitable for professionals with 1–5 years of relevant experience who want to develop their expertise and build a long-term career in consulting.

n n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n Working under the guidance of Senior Consultants / Practice Heads, the Associate Consultant will:
n n Participate in client consulting assignments and site visits.
n Support gap assessments and compliance assessments.




n Assist in developing and updating procedures, formats, registers and checklists.
n Support management system implementation.
n Participate in internal audits, EHS assessments and Food Safety audits.
n Prepare audit observations and project reports.
n Support corrective action follow-up.
n Assist in client awareness and training programs.
n Maintain project trackers and documentation.
n Coordinate assigned project activities with the consulting team.
n Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines.
n Develop the capability to independently handle consulting assignments over time.
n n WHO SHOULD APPLY?
n We are looking for professionals who:
n n Have 2–5 years of relevant experience in consulting, implementation, auditing, EHS, Quality or Food Safety.
n Have a genuine interest in management systems and professional consulting.
n Have basic knowledge of applicable ISO standards or relevant technical requirements.
n Have good documentation and report-writing skills.
n Are comfortable interacting with client teams.
n Are willing to travel for client assignments.
n Can work effectively with Senior Consultants and project teams.
n Are willing to learn and develop across multiple standards and industries.
n Can take ownership of assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
n n EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
n Preferred backgrounds include:
n n B.E. / B.Tech, B.Sc. / M.Sc.,B.Pharm / M.Pharm
n Food Technology / Food Science
n Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering
n Industrial Safety / Safety Engineering
n Other relevant technical or professional qualifications
n n Certifications or training in ISO standards, HACCP, Food Safety, EHS, Safety or Auditing will be an advantage.
