Role & responsibilities

- Manage complete day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, bank reconciliation and general accounting.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations and related filings.
- Manage TDS, income-tax related compliance and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, auditors and statutory authorities.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow statements and management reports.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and outstanding payments.

Preferred candidate profile

- 712+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST and taxation.
- Experience in NBFC/lending/financial services accounting is highly preferred.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing/production accounting is highly preferred.
- Exposure to retail/dealer sales accounting will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of TDS, GST reconciliation and statutory compliance.
- Valuable understanding of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and MIS.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP and MS Excel.
- Ability to independently manage the finance and accounts function.
