Role OverviewVynexa is looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who can create engaging short-form and promotional video content for social media and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate should understand how to grab audience attention quickly, create strong video hooks, and edit content according to current social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Create strong and engaging hooks within the first few seconds of a video to capture audience attention.
- Edit raw footage into engaging, polished, and platform-ready videos.
- Add appropriate transitions, captions, text, music, sound effects, animations, and visual effects.
- Understand and implement current video editing and social media trends.
- Experiment with different editing styles, pacing, transitions, and formats to improve engagement.




- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand video requirements.
- Repurpose existing content into different short-form video formats.
- Ensure videos meet platform-specific requirements for aspect ratio, resolution, duration, and quality.
- Complete editing tasks within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

- Basic to advanced knowledge of video editing.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling and audience engagement.
- Ability to create strong hooks that grab attention.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social media trends.
- Creative thinking and willingness to experiment with different editing styles.

Editing SoftwareKnowledge of one or more of the following:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- CapCut
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Express
- Other professional video-editing software

Nice to Have

- Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.




- Basic understanding of color grading and audio editing.
- Experience creating videos for brands, creators, or social media pages.
- Ability to identify trending video formats and adapt them quickly.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design.

Portfolio RequirementCandidates should share examples of their previous video work through a portfolio, Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, or other relevant platform.
