Fable Labs is looking for a Video Editor + Videographer who understands how to create videos that actually hold attention.

You’ll primarily work on UGC Ads, D2C Performance Ads, Social Media Videos, Reels and Short-Form Content for consumer brands.

We’re not looking for someone who only knows how to operate editing software. We’re looking for someone with a good visual eye, strong editing fundamentals and an understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and keep watching.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Edit UGC Ads, Instagram Reels, Meta Ads and short-form videos
- Shoot content using iPhone / camera setups
- Work with actors and creators during shoots
- Create strong hooks in the first 2–3 seconds
- Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, B-roll and transitions
- Turn raw footage into fast-paced, retention-focused edits
- Understand scripts and translate them into visually engaging videos
- Work closely with our creative and scripting team
- Handle multiple brand projects while maintaining quality
- Experiment with current editing styles, formats and visual hooks

Requirements

You should

- Have a good editing setup capable of handling professional video editing smoothly
- Be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Knowledge of After Effects is strongly preferred
- Have a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and retention
- Know how to edit Reels, UGC Ads and performance creatives
- Have a good eye for framing, lighting and composition
- Be comfortable shooting videos as well as editing them
- Understand social-media-first editing rather than traditional long-form editing
- Be reliable with deadlines and revisions
- Have a portfolio/showreel of previous work





Sample Edit You must be open to completing a short sample edit as part of the selection process.

The sample helps us understand your editing style, pacing, creative judgement and whether your editing approach matches the kind of content we produce.
