About PrepZii

PrepZii is an education technology platform focused on creating a smarter and more engaging learning experience for students preparing for competitive exams. We are looking for a creative Video Editor who can turn educational content, ideas, and raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, ads, and other digital platforms .
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, educational videos, promotional content, and product videos .
- Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound effects, subtitles, and music where required.
- Turn raw footage and scripts into polished videos with strong storytelling and pacing.
- Understand current social-media editing styles, trends, hooks, and retention techniques.
- Work with the PrepZii team to develop creative concepts for educational and marketing content.
- Maintain consistent visual identity and quality across PrepZii's content.
- Manage multiple video projects and deliver them within agreed timelines.

Requirements
- Robust video-editing and storytelling skills.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro ,



or similar software.
- Good understanding of pacing, typography, transitions, sound design, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create engaging short-form content that captures attention within the first few seconds.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
- Creativity and attention to detail are more important to us than formal qualifications.
- A portfolio or previous video-editing work is required.

Salary The salary will be decided during the interview based on your skills, experience, portfolio, and the work involved.
