Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a remote internship from any part of India focused on creating engaging visual content that supports Aashraya’s social impact initiatives and storytelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video footage from events and campaigns, assembling clips into cohesive narratives, and applying basic color grading and transitions to enhance visual appeal. The intern will collaborate with the communications and social media teams to develop video content for digital platforms, including short-form videos, reels, and impact stories.





Additional tasks may involve adding simple motion graphics and text overlays, ensuring brand consistency, and organizing media assets for future use. This internship offers hands-on experience in mission-driven content creation while contributing directly to awareness and community engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and an understanding of basic filming and shot composition.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, including trimming, sequencing, and applying transitions in common editing software.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for easy animations, text overlays, and social media-ready visuals.
- Basic familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to interpret project briefs aligned with social impact goals.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, volunteer-driven environment.
- An interest in social impact, community service, or nonprofit initiatives is highly beneficial; prior volunteer experience is a plus.
