The Role

We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Creator Intern with strong video editing skills and a passion for creating engaging digital content.

The core focus of this role is editing high-quality short-form videos , particularly Instagram Reels and other social media content. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can also contribute creatively to the entire content creation process — from coming up with ideas and planning shoots to filming and editing the final video.

You will work closely with the co-founder who is an experienced director to create engaging content around healthcare, doctors, technology, patient stories and the people behind Docville. Think of shows like Scrubs, House MD, The Good Doctor but in short form and real life.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality Reels, short-form videos and social media content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished and platform-ready videos.
- Add captions, motion graphics, music, transitions and other creative elements where appropriate.
- Create strong hooks and maintain viewer engagement throughout the video.
- Assist in conceptualizing ideas for Reels, campaigns and social media content.
- Participate in planning and shooting content when required.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, doctor interactions, team activities and other brand content.
- Repurpose longer videos, interviews and raw footage into multiple short-form pieces of content.
- Stay updated on current social media, Reel and video editing trends.




- Help build and maintain a library of video footage and creative assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with Docville's brand and communication style.

What We're Looking ForMust Have
- Strong video editing skills.
- Experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or other short-form content.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software .
- A good understanding of pacing, storytelling, music, captions and audience retention.
- Ability to turn raw footage into engaging and polished content.
- A creative eye and strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have
- Ability to conceptualize and pitch content ideas.
- Basic videography and shooting skills.
- Experience using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or smartphone for content creation.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation.
- Familiarity with Canva or other creative tools.
- Interest in social media trends and content strategy.
- Experience creating content for brands or personal creators.
