Role Description The Vice President Information Technology is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Borivali, responsible for overseeing the overall IT function and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This position leads the formulation and execution of IT strategy, manages enterprise applications and infrastructure, and ensures system reliability, performance, and security across Rupeeseed and its group entities.

The role includes supervising IT teams, prioritizing and delivering key technology projects, managing vendors and service providers, and maintaining compliance with relevant industry and security standards.

President will collaborate closely with senior leadership to support digital onboarding, trading platforms, back office systems, and wealth technology solutions, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. Day-to-day work involves monitoring IT operations, reviewing project status, resolving escalations, optimizing budgets, and guiding technology roadmaps that support scalable growth.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, security, and application environments.
- Demonstrated IT Management experience leading cross-functional teams and overseeing complex, mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Solid Project Management skills to prioritize, plan, and deliver multiple technology projects on schedule and within budget.
- Experience in financial services or fintech environments, preferably with trading, wealth management, or back office platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance, data protection, and information security frameworks relevant to financial transactions and digital onboarding.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in IT governance or project management (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are an advantage.
