Position: Vehicle Diagnostics Tool Content Development Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities

- Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software.

- End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems e.g., engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc.

- Understanding the requirement from OEM Specifications & Licensed data Analysis.

- Simulation test of authored diagnostic content using both virtual setup & Vehicle testing.

- Design & creation of workflow and evaluate sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X

- Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester.

- Verification and validation of authored diagnostic content on the vehicle.

- Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations.

- Continuous learning and self-development.

- Closely interact with software engineering teams and technical experts from global teams.

- Strong vehicle system knowledge,



including the sub-systems and components.

- Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles and make it roadworthy.

- Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals.

- Ability to independently manage diagnostic testers.

- Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc.

- Good knowledge of wiring diagrams and conventions.

- Good knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic].

- Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.

- Good knowledge of tools like SVN, GitHub, MFALM, JIRA, BDX, Grade-X, IMSIS+, ODX Studio.

- Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec e.g., HSX, HS+ etc. Good to have knowledge / experience in Programming languages.

- Positive to have exposure in Automation using Python.

- Good to have knowledge in HTML.
