Role & responsibilities

- Understand project /customer requirement and detail technical specification for the product.

- Prepare engineering deliverables including layout drawings, sub-assembly drawings, exploded views, manufacturing drawings, schematics, General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), and Installation, Operation &
- Maintenance (IOM) manuals.

- Perform engineering design calculations, maintain design records and file, support product range extensions, and contribute to product improvement and development initiatives.

- Apply and interpret relevant industry standards and codes, including API, ANSI, ASME Boiler &

- Pressure Vessel Code, and ASTM material specifications.

- Selection of suitable materials for applications for the project.

- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk design tools.

- Demonstrate a robust understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning &

- Tolerancing (GD&T;),



manufacturing processes, and engineering drawing standards.

- Create, maintain, and manage Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOM), and related engineering documentation within SAP and PLM systems.

- Strong understanding of valve design principles for Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, and Butterfly valves or actuators (Linear, Quarter turn &

- Compact).

- Knowledge of pressure-containing & controlling component design or valve interface, cylinder, piston and spring cartridge.

- Design calculations as per ASME and API standards.

- Working knowledge of NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 requirements and applications.

- GD&T; interpretation and application.

- Proficiency in Autodesk software such as Inventor and AutoCAD is mandatory.

- Basic knowledge in QMS (API Spec Q1 / ISO 9001).
