n Job Summary
n MNR University is looking for a responsible, accurate and detail-oriented Accountant & Cashier to manage day-to-day accounting activities, cash transactions, fee collections, banking transactions and financial records.
n The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, Tally, cash handling and reconciliation, with the ability to maintain accurate financial documentation.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Maintain day-to-day books of accounts using accounting software/Tally.
n Record receipts, payments, journal and contra entries.
n Handle daily cash receipts, payments, deposits and petty cash.
n Maintain the cash book, ledgers and supporting accounting records.
n Prepare accounting vouchers, invoices and payment entries.
n Collect student fees and issue receipts as required.
n Maintain daily cash collection and deposit records.
n Perform regular cash and bank reconciliation.
n Verify and process vendor bills and payments.
n Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
n Monitor daily cash flow and ensure timely recording of transactions.
n Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, receipts and other financial documents.




n Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
n Prepare accounting statements and reports for management.
n Assist internal and external auditors by providing required records and documents.
n Follow university accounting policies, internal controls and applicable statutory requirements.
n Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts team for day-to-day financial activities.
n Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
n n Qualification
n n B.Com / Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent is preferred.
n M.Com or MBA (Finance) can be an added advantage.
n Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
n n Experience
n n Current MNR-related listings indicate a minimum of 2 years for the Accounts & Cashier role.
n Another MNR Sangareddy listing specifies 3+ to 5 years of experience, particularly in Tally, accounts and cash handling.
n Experience in an educational institution is preferred.
