- Must hold an IATA-certified diploma/degree or a relevant professional diploma (minimum duration of 23 years).
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in a reputed Travel Agency or Airline Ticketing Office.
- Proven travel training experience, preferably in a professional or academic setting.
- In-depth working knowledge of GDS systems such as Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, etc.
- Strong familiarity with airport ground handling procedures, travel terminology, and travel geography.
- Understanding of foreign currency exchange procedures, cargo handling, and global travel regulations.
- Awareness of organizations associated with the travel industry (e.g., IATA, ICAO, UFTAA). Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging classroom and practical sessions for students aspiring to join the travel and tourism industry.
- Train students on GDS software, ticketing processes,
and industry best practices.
- Explain real-world concepts related to airport operations, travel logistics, and destination management.
- Support curriculum development and ensure content is updated in line with current industry standards.
- Mentor and guide students in their career development and job-readiness.
- Collaborate with faculty and management to maintain high-quality training delivery.
