We are hiring Trainer - E/M(IP/OP coding) for Noida Location

Job Summary The Trainer - E/M IP & OP Coding is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for Evaluation & Management (E/M) Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) Medical Coding teams. The role focuses on enhancing coding accuracy, productivity, compliance, and knowledge of coding guidelines through structured training initiatives, audits, and continuous coaching.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

- Conduct new hire training and onboarding programs for E/M IP and OP coders.
- Develop and deliver refresher training sessions on coding guidelines, industry updates, and client-specific requirements.
- Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and learning modules.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to coding staff.

Quality & Compliance

- Identify coding knowledge gaps through audits and quality reviews.
- Conduct corrective and preventive training based on audit findings.
- Ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding guidelines.
- Support coding quality improvement initiatives and compliance programs.

Performance Management





- Monitor trainee performance during training and nesting periods.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics.
- Assist operations and quality teams in improving coding accuracy and productivity.
- Track and report training outcomes and competency levels.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or related field.
- CPC, CCS, CIC, CCS-P, or equivalent coding certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.

Experience

- 3-8 years of experience in Medical Coding.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in E/M IP and OP Coding.
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, quality auditing, or knowledge transfer is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of E/M Inpatient and Outpatient Coding.
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Knowledge of CMS documentation guidelines and coding compliance requirements.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and coding platforms.
- Good understanding of payer-specific guidelines.
