Key Responsibilities / KRA

- Lead end-to-end customs brokerage operations for import and export shipments, ensuring timely clearance, SLA adherence, and operational accuracy.
- Drive customs compliance across applicable regulations, including classification, valuation, documentation, audits, investigations, and statutory requirements.
- Own the regional customs P&L;, covering revenue, profitability, cost control, billing, collections, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Lead and develop the customs operations team while managing productivity, performance, customer escalations, and service quality.
- Build strong relationships with customers, customs authorities, freight forwarders, transporters,



and internal stakeholders to support service delivery and business growth.

Candidate Profile

- 8–15 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Solid hands-on expertise in customs clearance, regulatory compliance, tariff classification, valuation, and related trade regulations; Customs Brokerage F Card is preferred.
- Candidates should have demonstrated experience in P&L; management, team leadership, customer management, and operational performance improvement.
- Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to customs EDI systems and ERP platforms.
