Functional UAT Tester Role DescriptionArea(s) of Responsibility

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and define UAT scope and objectives.

- Prepare comprehensive UAT test cases and scenarios based on business process flows and requirements.

- Validate end-to-end workflows and ensure alignment with business expectations.

- Facilitate UAT execution by coordinating with business users and providing necessary support.

- Document UAT results, feedback, and obtain formal sign-off from stakeholders.

- Ensure all critical business scenarios and edge cases are covered during UAT.

- Track, analyse, and resolve issues identified during UAT in collaboration with development and QA teams.

- Maintain explicit and detailed documentation of test cases, defects, and resolutions.

- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and UAT processes.

- Experience in testing ERP,



CRM, or other enterprise applications.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar.

- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based testing cycles.

- Knowledge in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
