Role Description The Telephone Interviewer is a full-time, in office role based in Navi Mumbai. This position involves conducting structured and semi-structured telephone interviews with candidates, gathering accurate information about their skills, experience, and career goals.

The Telephone

Interviewer will screen applicants against predefined criteria, document interview outcomes in internal systems, and provide clear summaries to recruitment consultants or hiring managers. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling calls, following interview scripts while adapting to candidate responses, answering basic queries about open roles, and maintaining professional, courteous communication at all times. The role also requires adhering to data privacy guidelines, meeting daily and weekly interviewing targets, and collaborating with the wider recruitment team to improve processes and candidate experience.

Salary: INR 240000 to INR 300000 p.a.

Qualifications

- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and ask clear, structured questions.
- Proficiency in documenting interview outcomes, basic data entry, and using CRM or applicant tracking systems to manage candidate information.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple interviews, schedules, and follow-ups while meeting daily targets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording candidate responses, assessing suitability against role requirements, and providing concise summaries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with recruitment and hiring teams.
- Comfort with phone-based work for extended periods, maintaining a professional tone and positive candidate experience throughout.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage for communicating with a broader candidate pool.
- Prior experience in recruitment, call centers, customer service, or telephone-based surveys is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Minimum 2years sales experience and able to make high volume of calls per day
- Previous experience in selling Banking products, real estate, FOREX, investments, telecom services can apply
