Role: Telecom Engineer

Experience Range: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Must Have:

- Solid knowledge of Telecom Networks and Architecture.
- Experience with SIP, VoIP, IP Telephony, PBX, and Unified Communications.
- Knowledge of MPLS, SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, VPN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with telecom monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of Telecom Protocols (SS7, SIP, H.323, RTP).
- Experience with Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Ribbon, AudioCodes, or similar telecom platforms.
- Knowledge of transmission technologies, leased lines, and carrier networks.
- Familiarity with network security concepts and telecom compliance standards.

Good-to-Have:

- Experience in Telecom Operations Center (TOC/NOC).
- Exposure to Cloud Telephony solutions.
- Understanding of 4G/5G Networks and Telecom Services.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting) is an added advantage.




- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.

Essential:

- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain telecom network infrastructure.
- Manage and support Voice, Data, Unified Communication, and IP Telephony systems.
- Monitor telecom network performance and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot telecom network issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
- Work on SIP, VoIP, PRI, ISDN, MPLS, and WAN technologies.
- Configure and support telecom equipment including routers, switches, gateways, and PBX systems.
- Perform capacity planning, network optimization, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with telecom security and operational standards.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs.
- Support telecom migration, upgrades, and transformation projects.

Minimum Qualification:

- 15 years of full-time education
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
