Chartered Accountant – Finance | Lending NBFC

About the Role

n

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong experience in finance and accounting within a lending NBFC . The role will be responsible for financial closing, loan book accounting, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, Ind AS compliance, taxation and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and preparation of financial statements.
n
- Handle loan book accounting , including disbursements, collections, interest accruals, overdue and NPA accounting.
n
- Perform LMS vs GL and other key financial reconciliations.
n
- Prepare and review RBI regulatory returns and reporting within prescribed timelines.
n
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS , particularly Ind AS 109 and financial instrument accounting.
n
- Manage/review ECL, provisioning, NPA classification and write-offs as per applicable norms.
n
- Handle Income Tax, TDS, GST and other tax compliances.
n
- Coordinate with Statutory, Internal and Tax Auditors and respond to audit queries.

- Manage accounting and reconciliation of borrowings, interest costs and lender-related reporting.
n
- Prepare MIS, financial analysis and management reports.
n
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of RBI/Ind AS requirements.
n
- Drive improvements in finance processes, controls, reconciliations and reporting automation.
n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on finance, accounting and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

n

n
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
n
- Lending NBFC experience is mandatory.
n
- Robust understanding of loan book accounting and lending-related finance processes.
n
- Hands-on experience with NPA accounting, ECL/provisioning and financial instrument accounting.
n
- Exposure to RBI regulatory reporting and Ind AS 109.
n
- Strong Excel, analytical, accounting and stakeholder-management skills.
n
- Candidates from banks, audit firms or non-lending organisations without relevant lending NBFC experience would not be considered.
