You will be responsible for analyzing Federal solicitations, understanding technical requirements and evaluation criteria, developing compliant technical and management approaches, and personally writing technical, management, staffing and related proposal sections. The role requires strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software architecture, .NET, Java, Mobile, Business Intelligence and Database technologies.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Technical Proposal Writer with proven hands-on experience in US Federal Government proposals.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and technical proposal writing and be capable of independently analyzing RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, understanding technical requirements and evaluation criteria, and developing high-quality, compliant proposal responses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and interpret US Federal Government RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, including Statement of Work (SOW), technical requirements, instructions, evaluation criteria and submission requirements.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the technical scope, deliverables, contractual requirements and evaluation criteria for each opportunity.
- Research and develop appropriate technical, management, staffing and cost approaches in response to Federal solicitations.
- Personally write, edit and develop high-quality technical proposal responses and supporting sections.
- Develop compliant proposal content aligned with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.




- Prepare and maintain proposal compliance matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed.
- Research upcoming US Federal Government opportunities and track future projects in target agencies in anticipation of RFP/RFQ release.
- Monitor current and upcoming opportunities through US Government public procurement portals.
- Research government agencies, programs, opportunities, decision-makers and relevant market trends.
- Prepare clarification questions for submission to Contracting Officers / Government agencies regarding RFP/RFQ requirements.
- Participate in pre-proposal conferences, industry days, vendor meetings and other government opportunity-related discussions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Management to understand opportunity strategy, customer requirements and win themes.
- Coordinate the complete proposal development process from opportunity identification through final submission.
- Maintain proposal activities, opportunities and status updates in the company's CRM system.
- Ensure proper document formatting, version control and quality standards across proposal submissions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- 8 - 15 years of overall experience in software development, IT services, technical proposal writing or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience writing software/IT project proposals.
- Proven experience working on US Federal Government RFP/RFQ/RFI responses.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or MCA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing, editing and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
