Role Description The Technical Lead will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of PInterview’s online platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in a fast-paced environment. This full-time remote role involves leading a distributed engineering team, setting technical direction, reviewing code, and promoting best practices in software architecture and development.

The Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, prioritize features, and manage technical roadmaps and releases. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring engineers, performing technical assessments, resolving complex issues, optimizing performance, and supporting continuous improvement of the platform’s user experience.



The role also includes evaluating new technologies, contributing to documentation, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in software development and architecture, such as proficiency in modern programming languages, API design, and scalable web application frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, including experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in technical leadership and team management, including mentoring, code review, sprint planning, and collaborative decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in system design and security, such as database modeling, performance optimization, data privacy, and secure coding practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication and stakeholder collaboration, including transparent written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) and prior experience in a lead or senior engineering role.
- Experience building or maintaining large-scale consumer or education/edtech platforms, familiarity with video or real-time communication technologies, and a strong interest in career development and learning solutions are beneficial.
