Job Summary

Technical Data Engineer / Proofreader - Airbus We are looking for Technical Data Engineers (TDEs) / Proofreaders with hands-on experience in Airbus Commercial Aircraft Technical Publications.

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

- Proofread and perform QA of Airbus AMM/TSM technical documentation.
- Work on Airbus revision cycles, priorities, and deliverables.
- Review technical content across ATA chapters, aircraft systems, iPPE tree, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ASD-STE100 / Simplified Technical English and Airbus authoring rules.
- Identify and resolve technical documentation errors and inconsistencies.
- Support configuration management and technical publication updates.

Required Skills

- 3-5 years of experience as a TDE / AMM/TSM Proofreader or similar role.
- Relevant experience in Airbus Commercial Aircraft technical publications.
- Strong knowledge of ATA chapters,



aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and iPPE.
- Experience with Airbus revision, priority, and deliverables management.
- Knowledge of ASD-STE100, iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Airbus user guides.
- Experience with Airbus programs such as SA, LR, MB, or XWB is preferred.
- Solid attention to detail and technical proofreading skills.

Note: Candidates should have direct Airbus technical publications/proofreading experience. General technical writing or proofreading experience alone will not be considered.
