We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with a robust emphasis on Apigee API Development. The ideal candidate will have 7 - 10 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing APIs using Apigee. You will be responsible for building robust and scalable backend systems that support our applications and services.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
- Implement security measures and data protection protocols for API services.
- Monitor and optimize API performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to API development.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong expertise in Apigee API Development.
- Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.




- Solid understanding of API security standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 - 10 years of professional experience in backend/API development.
- Proven experience in developing and managing APIs using Apigee.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
