Role Description The Team Lead Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Forbesganj. This role involves overseeing a branch or regional team responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing small business loan customers.

The Team Lead

Manager will guide daily operations, including supervising loan officers, monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and resolving customer issues. The position also includes setting performance targets, coaching team members, conducting regular reviews, and coordinating with senior management to implement business strategies.



The role requires close engagement with local markets, regular field visits, and building strong relationships with customers and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Experience in team leadership or people management, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.
- Background in lending, retail banking, microfinance, or NBFC operations, preferably with exposure to small business or micro-entrepreneur segments.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills for credit assessment, risk evaluation, and portfolio monitoring.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers, colleagues, and local partners.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfort with digital tools for loan processing and reporting.
- Knowledge of local markets in Tier 3 and rural/semi-urban areas, with willingness for regular field travel.
- Ability to work on-site in Forbesganj and manage operations in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in banking or microfinance are an advantage.
